Steel Plate & Sheet
Pipeline, Wind & Heavy Equipment Plate
Himount supplies project plate for pipeline, wind-power structures and heavy equipment fabrication, with grade, delivery condition and inspection requirements confirmed by project.
Product Overview
Pipeline, Wind & Heavy Equipment Plate
Pipeline, wind and heavy equipment plate covers project steel plate for large-diameter line pipe, wind tower and foundation structures, mining machinery, lifting equipment, pressure frames and heavy welded assemblies. Himount treats this as a project plate family because RFQs often require API 5L or ISO 3183 line pipe grade references, EN 10025 S355/S420/S460 wind structure grades, high-strength S690 or Q-series equipment grades, TMCP or normalized delivery, impact testing, ultrasonic testing and drawing review.

Typical Applications
- Large-diameter line pipe and pipeline plate supply
- Wind tower, flange, foundation and transition structures
- Mining machinery, lifting equipment and heavy frames
- Construction machinery, pressure frames and welded assemblies
- Project cut parts requiring high strength and traceability
Procurement Notes
- For pipeline projects, confirm API 5L or ISO 3183 grade, PSL level, toughness, DWTT, UT and pipe mill or project specification requirements.
- For wind-power projects, confirm S355/S420/S460 grade, delivery condition, impact temperature, lamellar tearing requirement and tower drawing list.
- For heavy equipment projects, confirm high-strength grade, bending or welding requirement, hardness, cutting drawing, edge condition and inspection plan.

Common standards, grades and RFQ terms
These terms reflect common international RFQ language. Final supply must follow the ordered standard edition, pipeline or wind project specification, equipment drawing, MTC, inspection plan and agreed contract terms.
Buyer FAQ
Questions buyers usually confirm before order
Is pipeline plate the same as pipe?
No. Pipeline plate is flat plate supplied for pipe manufacturing or project fabrication. The final pipe specification, PSL level and testing requirements should be confirmed separately.
When is TMCP delivery required?
TMCP is often used for high-strength, toughness-critical pipeline, wind or structural applications. Requirement depends on grade, thickness, service condition and project specification.
What should wind-power plate RFQs include?
Confirm grade, tower or foundation drawing, thickness list, impact temperature, UT class, Z-direction requirement, delivery condition, MTC and inspection authority.
Can S690QL replace Q690 or other high-strength grades?
Only if the project specification approves the equivalence. High-strength equipment plate must match welding, bending, impact, hardness and inspection requirements.
