Structural & Mechanical Tubes
Precision & Mechanical Tube
Closer tolerance steel tube for machined parts, rollers, sleeves, cylinders, bushings and equipment components.
Product Overview
Tube ordered by tolerance, surface and delivery condition
Himount supplies precision and mechanical steel tube for buyers who need more than ordinary pipe dimensions. Orders are reviewed against outside diameter, inside diameter, wall thickness, straightness, cut length, surface finish, mechanical properties and delivery condition before quotation.

Typical Applications
Where precision and mechanical tube is specified
Precision tube RFQs should state whether the controlled dimension is OD, ID, wall thickness, concentricity, straightness, or final machined size.
Confirm cold drawn, cold rolled, normalized, annealed, stress relieved, BK, BKW, BKS, GBK or NBK condition when these terms affect final use.

Buyer FAQ
Questions to settle before quotation
What makes precision tube different from standard pipe?
Precision tube orders usually control OD, ID, wall thickness, straightness, surface and delivery condition more closely than general pipe orders.
Which standards are common?
EN 10305 is common for precision steel tube, ASTM A519 for seamless mechanical tubing, ASTM A513 for ERW mechanical tubing, and DIN 2391 or GB/T 3639 may appear in drawings.
What delivery condition should be confirmed?
Confirm cold drawn, cold rolled, normalized, annealed, stress relieved, BK, BKW, BKS, GBK or NBK condition when these terms are used in the order.
What information is needed for quotation?
Provide OD, ID or wall thickness, tolerance, length, grade, standard, surface, end finish, straightness, quantity, MTC, packing and destination port.
