Where structural hollow sections are used
Use EN 10219 for cold formed welded hollow sections and EN 10210 when the project specifies hot finished structural hollow sections.
Provide drawings or a tube list when corner radius, tolerance, galvanizing thickness, cut length or third-party inspection is controlled by the project.

What is included in structural hollow section supply?
Structural hollow section supply normally covers SHS, RHS and CHS. The RFQ should identify shape, outside dimensions, wall thickness, length, grade, standard, surface and certificate requirement.
When should EN 10219 or EN 10210 be used?
EN 10219 is commonly used for cold formed welded structural hollow sections, while EN 10210 is used for hot finished structural hollow sections. Final selection follows the project specification.
What ASTM grades are common for structural tube?
ASTM A500 Grade B and Grade C are common RFQ references. ASTM A1085 may be specified when the project requires tighter structural tube controls.

Provide shape, size, wall thickness, length, grade, standard, black or galvanized surface, quantity, bundle packing, inspection level, MTC and destination port.
