QUALITY & DOCUMENTATION
Inspection records and documents organized before shipment
Quality work is focused on what buyers can verify: standard, grade, heat number, dimensions, testing, marking, packing, loading, and certificate records.
Documentation Scope
For international steel procurement, documentation is part of the product. Himount prepares the document path according to the ordered standard, inspection scope, and buyer requirement.
Available documentation support may include mill test certificate, dimensional report, surface inspection, hydrotest or NDT record, PMI, coating report, packing photos, loading photos, and third-party inspection coordination when required.

Typical Inspection Checklist
- Standard, grade, heat number, and certificate consistency
- Dimensions, thickness, schedule, length, tolerance, and surface condition
- Coating, galvanizing, painting, bevel, facing, end finish, and marking
- Packing method, labels, shipping marks, loading photos, and document handover
QUALITY EVIDENCE MATRIX
Quality claims must be supported by documents buyers can verify
The quality path is arranged around heat traceability, dimensional control, test records, visual evidence, and shipment documents.
| Evidence item | What buyers normally check | Typical record |
|---|---|---|
| Mill test certificate | Standard, grade, heat number, chemical composition, mechanical properties, and delivery condition. | MTC / EN 10204 3.1 or ordered certificate route. |
| Dimensional inspection | OD, wall thickness, thickness, width, length, schedule, tolerance, straightness, bevel, facing, or drawing size. | Dimensional report and photo record where ordered. |
| Testing scope | Hydrotest, NDT, UT, ET, PMI, impact, hardness, coating thickness, HIC/SSC, or project-specific supplementary tests. | Inspection report, test report, or third-party witness record. |
| Traceability and marking | Heat number, bundle tag, pipe marking, flange marking, color mark, label, and packing mark. | Marking photos and packing record. |
| Shipment handover | Packing method, loading method, container or truck loading, shipping marks, and document list. | Packing list, loading photos, and final document copy. |
